Come see the abundance of nature and wildlife that Costa Rica has to offer! This Safari Float in Costa Rica is a gentle two-hour paddle down the peaceful lower section of the Sarapiquí River and is ideal for nature lovers of all ages, especially children and their parents! Your bilingual nature guide will row and steer your boat as you float down the river and point out all the exotic wildlife such as birds, frogs, insects, and monkeys in the Costa Rica rainforest!
We will pick you up at your hotel in Sarapiquí and travel to our Operations Center located in El Roble de Sarapiquí as you prepare to fall deeply in love with our 2-hour Jungle Safari float.
Your eagle-eyed guide will show you the incredible wildlife of Costa Rica while also pointing out a wide range of plant and animal species. You'll float alongside the Mesoamerican Biological Corridor (San Juan La Selva Biological Corridor), where there's a good chance of seeing sloths, howler monkeys, alligators, and many of birds.
Additionally, this area is famous for its incredible number of tropical birds such as ospreys, great-billed herons, parrots, kingfishers and the great green macaw, which is on the endangered species list.
For those who want to be even closer to nature, you will have the opportunity to get off the raft and jump into the river's natural pools and cool off as we go down the river.
The Jungle Safari Float is ideal for nature lovers of all ages - kids love this tour! It's also perfect for couples or large groups who want to have a good time and relax together in the middle of a tropical paradise!
And to end the day we will return to our Operations Center to have a delicious Costa Rican lunch called “Casado” along with an incredible Costa Rican coffee.
